During the summer months, the Take Root Forest Learning Community opens for CAMP!
Forest Camp is a time to disconnect in order to connect! Take Root Forest Camp steps back in time – allowing kids ages 5+ to connect with nature, themselves and each other. The days are spent in play – exploring, discovering, running, digging, playing in the water or simply day-dreaming under a tree. Forest Camp provides an opportunity for all kids to experience a summer in the forest and by the sea. Families register their children, 5 and up, for one week or more. Receive a discount when you register for 3 weeks or more at a time.
Wet Feet, Dirty Hands, Full Heart…
Each week includes time in the shade of the forest and time along the shore of the sea! The flow of Forest Camp allows for child-led play as well as time for community games, projects and activities (arts & crafts, science experiments, etc).
