Each week includes time in the shade of the forest and time along the shore of the sea! The flow of the Summer in the Forest program allows for child-led play as well as time for community games, projects, lessons and activities (arts & crafts, science experiments, etc).
Disconnect to CONNECT! At Take Root, during the Summer in the Forest program, children are invited to unplug and RECONNECT to NATURE, FRIENDSHIPS & THEMSELVES.
In the heart of South Florida’s wild and beautiful landscape, children spend their days the way childhood was meant to unfold—wandering forest paths, building forts, discovering hidden treasures, running freely, digging in the earth, creating with natural materials, splashing in the water, and solving problems through play and adventure. Each week includes time in the shade of the forest and time along the shore of the sea! The flow of the Summer in the Forest program allows for child-led play as well as time for community activities and projects and many games (arts & crafts, science experiments, etc).
The Summer in the Forest program invites children ages 5 and up to experience the magic of summer in the forest and by the sea. Each week offers space for curiosity & discovery, exploration & learning, friendship, and joyful connection with the natural world. Families may register their children for one week or several weeks, with a discount available when registering for multiple weeks.

Registration Process
Click on the registration link above, you will be directed to a google form to register. Once the form is received you will be invited to join Brightweel – our management platform. Once you are in Brightwheel each of your children that are registered will receive an invoice for the weeks requested.
