The Little Roots Family Forest Days provide nature-based, experiential engagement and play for children, ages 1.5-3 and their parent/caregiver. Come play under the shade of the trees…connect with nature and each other!
The Little Roots Program provides each child & their adult with an EXPERIENCE of PLAY, NATURE, RHYTHM and ROUTINE – in their PLACE. Through this experience, the participants gain opportunities to problem solve, take risks and build imagination.

The Little Roots Program is centered around seasonal themes and includes experiential learning, songs & stories, games & play, arts & crafts, and always play and exploration in nature.
Forest Schools are nature-based communities where facilitators provide opportunity for learner-led exploration and discovery, nurturing meaningful experiences for positive lifelong impacts. Forest School is a child-centered, inspirational learning process that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
